| Download Users for use with Viewpoint Offline 4.0 | |
To download users for use with Viewpoint Offline 4.0 you need to first be
|

| 1. Open the "Download Users (4.0)" Screen Click on the "Download Users (4.0)" option in the "Offline 4.0" section of the menu at the left hand side of the screen (circled in RED on Fig 1). The "Download Users - Select Users" screen will be displayed (see Fig 2.). |

| 2. Select the
Users That you Wish to Download. Tick the user(s) that you wish to work with. The 'Select' button can be used to toggle the checkboxes, i.e., it will untick checked boxes and tick unchecked boxes. You may also use the 'filter' button to set what login ids you wish displayed. Click on the “Next” button to confirm your selection(s). (see Fig. 2).

3(i). Choose the Download Type That You Wish to Conduct.
The “Confirm User(s)” screen will be displayed (see Fig 3.). Use the radio buttons (circled in
RED) to select your download type.
Select the 'Default Download' option to download the data.off file to the default location - C:/Program Files/Viewpoint/Offline/V4/.
Select the 'Advanced Download' option to download the data.off file to any other destination of your choice. |

3(ii). Select the Users and Corresponding Questionnaires That you Wish to Download.
Tick (and/or untick) the users and corresponding questionnaires that you wish to download (or not download). The 'switch' button can be similarly used to toggle the selections. |

Click on the 'Next' button to continue. |

4.1. Default Download: |
|
|
4.1(a) If the 'Default Download' option was selected, clicking 'Next' will bring up the Default Download screen. Click on the 'Download' button to continue. (See Fig. 4.) |

4.1(b) If the file transfer was successful, you will see the following screen. Click on the 'Close Window' (circled in RED) link to continue. (See Fig. 5.) |

4.2 Advanced Download: |
|
|
4.2(a) If the 'Avanced Download' option was selected, clicking 'Next' will bring up the Advanced Download screen. Click on the 'Download' button to continue. (See Fig. 6.) |

4.2(b) You will then be presented with a 'File Download' dialogue box. Click on the 'Save' button to continue. (See Fig. 7.) |

4.2(c) You will then be presented with a 'Save As' dialogue box. Navigate to the destination to which you wish to save the file. Note: Be sure to change the 'Save as Type' option to 'All Files' Click on the 'Save' button to continue. (See Fig. 8.) |

4.2(d) You will then be presented with a 'Download Complete' dialogue box. Click on the 'Close' button. (See Fig. 9.) This will close the window. |

4.2(e) You will then be presented AGAIN with the 'Advanced Download' screen. Click on the 'Close Window' (circled in RED) link to continue. (See Fig. 10.) |

| 5. You will then be asked to confirm successful download in the following screen (See Fig. 11). You need to manually check for the file on your computer BEFORE selecting a response. To do this follow the following instructions: | |

| 5.1 Open up the File Explorer Window: RIGHT CLICK on the 'Start' button in the bottom left corner of your screen and LEFT CLICK on the 'Explore' option. (See Fig. 12.) | |

| 5.2 Display File Details: LEFT CLICK on the 'View' menu option in the top left hand region of your screen and LEFT CLICK on the 'Details' option. (See Fig. 13.) | |

5.3 Open the 'Offline/V4' Folder: DOUBLE CLICK on the 'Program Files' folder. Then do the same (i.e., DOUBLE CLICK) for the 'Viewpoint', 'Offline'and 'V4' folders. (See Fig. 14.)
NOTE: If the 'Advanced Download' option was used, then this same method would be used to navigate to the appropriate folder to which the (data.off) file was saved. Once in the appropriate folder. Observe the details of the data.off file. Ensure that:

| 6. Once the 2 points (detailed in 5.3 above) have been confirmed, go back to the Viewpoint Online 'Confirm Successful Download' Screen (Fig. 11 above) by clicking on the Internet Explorer Viewpoint Icon at the bottom of your screen (See Fig. 15) and click on the 'Yes' button. At this stage you will be presented with a report of your (successful) download (See Fig. 16). Otherwise click on the 'No' button. You will at this stage be presented with the 'Download Failure' screen (See Fig. 17); may then retry or contact Viewpont if the problem persists. | |
